If you don't already use them for your long
eared dogs ~ Try Them ~ they really can be your
friend!
By using snoods on your dog before he eats his
meals or settles down to chew on a tasty treat,
the snood wiill keep the ears from getting stinky
debris in them.
I use snoods anytime I prefer the ears to be
out of the way, like during meal time, while feeding
tasty treats, and even after medicating an ear
to keep the medication off the walls. It is also
useful for the bitch while she whelps her litter.
The dogs are eager to wear them as most of the
time they represent something good!
I have an assortment of snoods in most sizes
to match nearly all the robes I make.
Our snoods are made slightly different from others
you may have seen. These hold the ears close to
the neck-- instead of tucking them behind blousy
material.
A snood can make a world of difference at keeping
your dog's ear featherings clean, which in turn
reduces the many unpleasant odors.
The snood also reduces the risk that your dog
might try and chew off his precious ear hair before
an important show.
Snood sizes are determined by the circumference
of the neck.
